Order Restrictions & Industries We Do Not Serve
Order Restrictions & Industries We Do Not Serve
Effective Date: April 28, 2026
Varaprint maintains business, brand, production, operational, legal, and risk-management standards for the types of orders, customers, industries, locations, uses, artwork, and projects it accepts. Varaprint reserves the right to refuse, decline, cancel, refund, or stop production on any order or request that Varaprint determines, in its sole business judgment, falls within a restricted business, restricted content, restricted use, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, or restricted risk category.
This policy applies to all Varaprint orders and requests, including online orders, in-person orders, phone orders, email orders, walk-in requests, quote requests, custom orders, repeat orders, reseller orders, pickup orders, delivery orders, third-party orders, and any other request for products or services.
1. Restricted Businesses and Industries
Varaprint does not accept orders from, for, on behalf of, intended for use by, or intended to benefit businesses, organizations, events, locations, individuals, or third parties whose business, activity, or purpose includes the sale, promotion, marketing, distribution, display, advertising, support, or facilitation of any restricted product, service, activity, or industry.
Restricted industries and businesses include, but are not limited to:
Alcohol, liquor, tobacco, vaping, nicotine, cannabis, CBD, THC, gambling, adult content, sexually explicit material, illegal activity, unauthorized or infringing intellectual property, counterfeit or suspected counterfeit goods, regulated products, age-restricted products, and any other product, service, industry, business, location, activity, or use that Varaprint determines is inconsistent with its business, brand, production, operational, legal, or risk-management standards.
Examples of restricted businesses include, but are not limited to, smoke shops, vape shops, tobacco retailers, liquor stores, cannabis dispensaries, adult businesses, gambling businesses, and similar businesses, locations, events, or operations.
2. Policy Applies Regardless of Artwork
This policy applies regardless of the artwork, product, message, design, wording, brand, logo, file, item, or material being printed.
Varaprint may decline an order even if the printed material does not directly show, name, advertise, or mention a restricted product or service, if Varaprint determines that the order is placed by, for, on behalf of, delivered to, displayed at, distributed by, resold by, used by, connected to, or intended to support a restricted business, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, restricted activity, or restricted use.
For example, Varaprint may decline general signage, window graphics, stickers, posters, banners, business cards, labels, menus, apparel, flyers, promotional materials, or other printed products if the order is intended for use by or in connection with a restricted business or restricted location, even if the design itself does not mention a restricted product or service.
3. Restricted Content
Varaprint may refuse, cancel, or refund any order that contains, advertises, promotes, depicts, references, supports, suggests, or is connected to restricted content.
Restricted content includes, but is not limited to:
Alcohol, liquor, tobacco, vaping, nicotine, cannabis, CBD, THC, gambling, adult content, sexually explicit material, illegal activity, unlawful conduct, threats, harassment, hate speech, violence, misleading content, deceptive content, fraudulent content, unauthorized intellectual property, unauthorized logos, unauthorized trademarks, copyrighted materials, protected images, celebrity likenesses, product labels, packaging, counterfeit or suspected counterfeit goods, or any other content Varaprint determines is inconsistent with its business, brand, production, operational, legal, or risk-management standards.
4. Restricted Locations, Events, and Uses
Varaprint may decline an order based on the location, event, display area, distribution method, end user, intended use, resale purpose, or final destination of the product.
This includes orders intended to be used, displayed, distributed, resold, transferred, delivered to, installed at, promoted by, or otherwise connected with a restricted business, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, restricted activity, or restricted use.
Customers may not avoid this policy by ordering through another person, business, employee, contractor, marketing agency, reseller, friend, family member, third-party vendor, or alternate account.
5. Customer Responsibility for Artwork and Rights
Customers are solely responsible for all artwork, logos, trademarks, trade names, copyrighted materials, images, designs, slogans, labels, packaging, brand references, likenesses, and other content submitted to Varaprint.
By submitting artwork, files, text, images, logos, designs, or other materials to Varaprint, the customer represents and warrants that the customer owns the content or has all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, releases, and approvals to use, reproduce, print, display, distribute, resell, and authorize Varaprint to produce the submitted content.
Varaprint does not independently verify ownership, licensing, trademark rights, copyright rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights for every file or order submitted. Acceptance of artwork, files, payment, an online order, an in-person order, a quote request, or a custom request does not mean Varaprint has verified that the customer has legal rights to the submitted content.
Varaprint may refuse, cancel, or refund any order that Varaprint knows, suspects, or reasonably believes may contain unauthorized, infringing, counterfeit, misleading, deceptive, unlawful, or otherwise restricted content. This includes unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, brand names, copyrighted images, characters, celebrity likenesses, product labels, packaging, government seals, sports teams, designer brands, or other protected materials.
6. Customer Representations
By placing an order with Varaprint, the customer represents, warrants, and confirms that:
The order is not being placed by, for, on behalf of, or for the benefit of a restricted business, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, restricted activity, or restricted use.
The order will not be used, displayed, distributed, resold, transferred, delivered to, installed at, promoted by, or otherwise connected with a restricted business, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, restricted activity, or restricted use.
The customer owns or has permission to use all submitted artwork, logos, images, designs, trademarks, text, labels, packaging, and other content.
The customer has the legal authority to request production of the submitted materials.
The customer has provided accurate information about the order, business, artwork, end user, delivery location, display location, and intended use.
The customer will not use another person, business, account, reseller, agent, employee, contractor, or third party to avoid or bypass this policy.
7. Additional Information and Verification
Varaprint may request additional information before accepting, producing, releasing, delivering, or completing an order. This may include information about the customer, business, artwork, intended use, end user, delivery address, display location, event, resale purpose, or rights to use submitted content.
Failure to provide requested information, providing incomplete information, providing inaccurate information, misrepresenting the order, hiding the true end user, hiding the intended use, or attempting to avoid this policy may result in refusal, cancellation, refund, account restriction, or refusal of future service.
Varaprint is not required to investigate every order, verify every statement, or detect every restricted use, restricted business, restricted location, unauthorized file, or intellectual property issue. The customer remains fully responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, permission, use, and final destination of the order.
8. Order Acceptance and Production Approval
Acceptance of artwork, files, payment, an online order, an in-person order, a quote request, a proof request, a custom request, or a repeat order does not guarantee acceptance, approval, production, completion, delivery, or release of the order.
An order is not accepted for production until Varaprint has reviewed and approved the order for production. Varaprint may refuse, cancel, refund, pause, or stop an order before or during production if Varaprint determines that the order may violate this policy or may create legal, operational, brand, production, safety, reputational, or business concerns.
Varaprint may also decline future orders from a customer, business, organization, account, location, reseller, or third party if Varaprint determines that prior orders, requests, conduct, or submitted information violated or attempted to avoid this policy.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
If Varaprint cancels an order under this policy before production begins, Varaprint may issue a refund for unproduced work, subject to any applicable processing fees, design fees, proofing fees, setup fees, labor fees, material fees, or other costs already incurred.
If production has already started, Varaprint may deny a full refund or issue only a partial refund based on the work completed, materials used, labor performed, setup completed, vendor costs incurred, or other expenses related to the order.
Varaprint is not responsible for customer losses, missed deadlines, lost sales, lost profits, event issues, business interruption, advertising delays, installation delays, or other damages resulting from an order being refused, canceled, delayed, paused, refunded, or not produced under this policy.
10. Indemnification and Customer Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Varaprint, its owners, employees, contractors, vendors, suppliers, representatives, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, disputes, losses, damages, costs, expenses, attorney fees, liabilities, investigations, chargebacks, complaints, or legal issues arising out of or related to:
The artwork, files, images, logos, trademarks, text, labels, packaging, or content submitted by the customer.
The customer’s lack of ownership, permission, license, release, or legal right to use submitted content.
The customer’s use, display, distribution, resale, delivery, installation, or transfer of products produced by Varaprint.
The customer’s false, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.
The customer’s violation or attempted violation of this policy.
The customer’s connection to a restricted business, restricted location, restricted event, restricted industry, restricted activity, or restricted use.
11. No Duty to Monitor or Verify
Varaprint may review orders, files, artwork, customer information, and intended uses, but Varaprint has no duty to detect every legal issue, intellectual property issue, restricted business, restricted location, restricted use, or false statement submitted by a customer.
Varaprint’s decision to produce an order does not mean Varaprint has approved the legality of the artwork, confirmed ownership of the content, verified the customer’s rights, or approved the final use of the products.
The customer remains solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, ownership, permissions, and use of all submitted content and produced materials.
12. Consistent Application and Protected Status
This policy applies equally to all customers and is based on Varaprint’s business standards, brand standards, production standards, operational standards, restricted industry policy, content standards, risk standards, and intended-use restrictions.
This policy does not apply based on any customer’s race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, height, weight, familial status, marital status, disability, source of income, or any other legally protected status.
Varaprint does not refuse service because of a customer’s protected status. Varaprint may refuse orders based on restricted business categories, restricted industries, restricted content, restricted locations, restricted events, restricted uses, unauthorized content, legal risk, production limitations, operational concerns, or brand standards.
13. No Waiver
Varaprint’s decision to accept, produce, complete, or deliver one order does not require Varaprint to accept, produce, complete, or deliver any future order, similar order, related order, repeat order, or order from the same customer, business, organization, location, event, industry, reseller, or third party.
Varaprint’s failure to enforce this policy in one situation does not waive its right to enforce this policy in any other situation.
Varaprint reserves all rights to interpret, apply, update, modify, or enforce this policy on a case-by-case basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
